Mr. Corey Herman is proud to serve as Principal of The Villages Charter School Autism Center, where he leads with heart, purpose, and a deep commitment to supporting students with autism through a growth mindset. With more than a decade of experience in special education and school leadership, he focuses on building a positive, structured, and supportive environment where every student feels understood, valued, and empowered to grow.
Before joining TVCS Autism Center, he served in a variety of roles – including teacher, interventionist, coach, and Assistant Principal – where he worked closely with students, families, and staff to support student growth, staff development, and strong school communities. He’s known for a collaborative approach and dedication to helping each child succeed in their own unique way.
Mr. Herman recently moved to Florida from North Carolina with his wife, Melissa, their three kids, Savannah, Samuel and Benjamin, their husky, Meeka, and bearded dragon, Stumpy. When he’s not at school, he enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and staying involved in the community.
